We for sure will always remember our stay at Palmetto, the great bed and shower, the fine breakfasts and and refined suppers, Markus' choice of wines, Ewa's advice and kindness and of course the pool and the sunsets. Playa San Miguel is one of the best beaches around.

A beautiful garden, a perfect and private house. The breakfast was every morning again a surprise and the dinner was of a high standard. Everything fresh and very tasteful! The owners are friendly and very helpful! A place we will definitely recommend to all our friends and family!

We enjoyed Marita's wonderful breakfast as we gazed over beautiful foliage and bird-watched. The hosts gave excellent suggestions about area activities and provided a very helpful map. Watching the sunset from the nearby lake park was terrific.

The bed and breakfast has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy garden views. Arthur and Claire were the most amazing hosts! So attentive, kind and hospitable! They spoiled us rotten with new baked goods and treats every day. We will never stay anywhere else next time we come to Costa Rica. Can’t recommend enough! You will love it. They really felt like family after 9 days. Also their home cooked breakfast and espresso are very good. The pool is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting under the stars after getting home each evening and looking at the moon. The pool, property and rooms are all very clean. Arthur and Claire came every day to tidy up our room and give us fresh towels. They even came when we left later in the afternoon. We never expected that and even felt bad, but that’s how personal and attentive they are. They truly made our stay in Costa Rica special. Thank you Arthur and Claire! :)

The nearest airport is Fortuna, 55 km from the bed and breakfast, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. A perfect example of a great B&B. The accommodations were exceptionally nice, but the best part of the visit was the breakfast in the mornings. I would highly recommend this unique place for an overnight visit or an extended stay.

The bed and breakfast offers a year-round outdoor pool. This place is absolutely beautiful. The best place we stayed in all of Costa Rica. Peke is an amazing cook and the breakfast and coffee and juice were fantastic. The dining area is beautiful. Jenna is so warm and welcoming. What a gem of a place. Rooms and grounds are lovely. The pool is wonderful. Because there are only 5 rooms, it is a really peaceful and quiet place and the pool was often empty. Easy and flat walk to the beach takes about 15 mins.
