Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne, fruits and chocolates or cookies. one of the best hotels that we ever stayed in!!! clean, modern, new, situated in the beautiful paul valley with excellent views from the terrace. they also organize tours/drivers for you for a very good price. Edson our driver was the best :-) always on time, waiting for us to take photos and even doing short hikes with us to make sure that we dont get lost, we can highly recommend his services if you are staying in the hotel. all staff was super nice and helpful, the hotel owner who we called before our trip as we had so many questions, ladies in the restaurant, the young man who was in charge after the owner left (sorry forgot the name!) who gave us so many excellent tips for hiking and who would always come to talk to us on the terrace to see if we had any questions. frankly, it deserves more than a 10!

There's no better place to stay in Santo Antão. Very beautiful house close to all the restaurants in Paul and many amazing hikes nearby. The owner lives in the same house with his family and you get to sit with them for breakfast which is cooked freshly every day (pancakes with papaya jam, fresh banana and papaya juice, local goat cheese, omelette,..). I cannot recommend staying here enough - we wanted to stay for one night only but ended up staying three. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. If we ever come back to the island, Luz d'Sol is where we will go!

Staff was extremely friendly as well! The walk up the hill to get to Casa is quite steep but it’s like you feel rewarded once you get into this little paradise at the end of it!! I will be back for sure!

The girls were so kind and helpful and David speaks English super well and was very prompt to answer any questions I had about the local area and b&b. Absolutely recommend staying here if you’re in ponta do sol. WiFi is also decently fast for Cape Verde standards. Super clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was also delicious every morning.
