Although it is in a town, it is located in a very peaceful setting and is a pleasant 15 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of St Die des Vosges. We went for a meal in town and were caught out with no coats or umbrella when a rain storm arrived. We then received a message from our host who kindly drove in and rescued us from a soaking. The nearest airport is Metz-Nancy-Lorraine Airport, 131 km from the bed and breakfast. The house is very charming and the rooms themselves could not have been set up any better. The facilities were among the best in any hotel I've ever been in. The breakfast was traditional French and it was absolutely delicious. Perhaps a few "non-traditionally-French" additions would have been nice (like sliced cheese and ham).

Ideal for families with (small) children. Very spacious! Bathroom with great rain shower. We had a lovely, extensive breakfast. Our kids loved the swings and slide in the huge, green garden. And they loved to play with the house cat. The owner is super friendly and very helpful!
