Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker! The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.

De Cyprian is a traditional farm set in scenic countryside, in the small village of Baaiduinen on the island of Terschelling. Location was great for getting around the island. Breakfast was great as well and there was a well stocked bar too. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. Overall great facilities. Would recommend!

We had a great stay at De Stormvogel 2. The new owners were very attentive and present to meet all our needs and answer our questions. The B&B is well connected to the main harbor via public transport, and is located strategically to reach all interesting points on the island. We rented 2 bikes and went on exploring the island for 2 days. Breakfast was great and very filling. We particularly loved the locally brewed beers. In all a great experience, highly recommended! we hope to be back soon!
