We were welcomed by the very friendly manager who showed us the place and our rooms, Very charming and historical old, yet refurbished, farmhouse overlooking the village and valley. We had access to a huge kitchen with everything needed to store food and prepare meals. If you cant be bothered to make your own meals its less than 5 minutes walk down to the Skjolden Hotel which has an amazing restaurant. Would absolutely recommend Eide Gaard.

At the bed and breakfast, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Very charming villa located in a very charming village in Sognefjord. The villa was in general very well kept and executed. It was all the small details that impressed us: comfortable beds, good bathrooms and showers, very clean, good locks on individual rooms, code lock on main entry, high quality kitchen utensils and cutlery for everyone to use. You could really see the villa wasn't cheaply put together to make an extra buck, but that they've really put in the effort. Also the gardens around were amazing, little streams of water and fountains with a lot of flowers and plants here and there, with several sitting groups for people to use. The staff was very friendly especially the French girl who made us eggs and bacon in the morning. Owned by a very nice couple.
