The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was very homey feeling and the facilities were super clean. Cannot fault anything. Would recommend staying again.

Very attentive, let us park in their garage, cooked us a fabulous breakfast each day on the oceanfront balcony, and gave us great recommendations for things to do and see in the area. You have a private bedroom and bathroom with a separate entry but you also have access to their living room, kitchen, and oceanfront balcony. The house is walking distance (0.1-0.2 miles) from downtown Whitianga's restaurants and wharf. Heather and Don also gave us a bottle of Chardonnay, fruit, and snacks and the room is stocked with all kinds of things you might need but have forgotten. They even let us borrow their shovels to go to Hot Water Beach and dig to the underground hot water springs, saving us from having to rent.

Te Mata Bay Seaviews provides accommodation opposite Te Mata Beach and features views of the sea. You can relax on the patio and enjoy the sunsets. The self-contained accommodation features an external private entrance and private parking. Everything was perfect, it had everything you can need… really cozy place in front of the sea….the hostess was amazing!!! We absolutely recommend this property.
