Staff very friendly and helpful we got lucky and got a parking spot on the street directly across from the hotel otherwise parking can be a bit difficult to get to

Provided you don't mind stairs, this represents quiet luxury at a budget price. We had a level four room of generous proportion with a lovely and expansive view over old Porto towards the river. Super clean, modern, great bed, scalding hot water and a pleasant host. We noticed a lower level room provided for self catering. The location was great for us....500m uphill from Sao Bento station, an inexpensive cafe bar on the corner with plenty of other small restaurants nearby. An easy meander down to the river.

The nearest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro, 13 km from the bed and breakfast, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. A little misconceiving from the outside but was a delight. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a treat. In walking distance to Douro River. Would definitely stay here again. Sara was very accommodating during our stay from checking in to holding the breakfast room open for us. She is great assest to the property.

Especially Luisa who explained all the places worth going, helped solve all the issues and showed us non-tourists beaches.
