Vila Maria has spacious rooms with antique wooden furniture and tiled floors. Tea and coffee facilities are available in the leisure lounge. The owner! She was fabulous. Just delightful. She obviously loves what she does. Very helpful and accommodating. She made an amazing breakfast with endless variety, much of it homemade. Ample, easy on site parking. I can't recommend this place more. Castelo de Vide is a wonderful town, too.

Located in the heart of São Mamede Natural Park, Quinta da Dourada offers a peaceful retreat for nature lovers. This environment-friendly farmhouse has won the Green Key and offers spacious gardens and country-style accommodation. The quinta is beautiful. The property is very well kept and the attention to detail clearly shows the owners love for the place. Our room was excellent and the pre prepared breakfast was a very nice touch, allowing us to start the day when it suited us. We were warmly welcomed by Nuno's dogs who made the stay even more enjoyable.

The air-conditioned rooms feature a classical-style décor with dark-wood furnishings and private bathrooms. Nuno, the owner, was very kind, helpful & went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable stay. The hotel is in the center of Castelo de Vide so we could walk to everything in the town. We had a view of the mountain. The breakfast was beyond all expectations. We stayed for 4 nights in beautiful Castelo de Vide & if we return will stay at Casa Amarela TH & National Monument. This was our third time to stay here.

It was a really beautiful and outstanding experience, the owners are super friendly and helpful. The Appartement is great, all brand new and very comfortable, very clean and the whole surroundings just great. We will definitely come back , and this place is absolutely recommendable. At the bed and breakfast, every unit has bed linen and towels. What a great stay. Rui is a a fantastic host! Arrived in the rain and the village was quite busy with the Portalegre Rally. We couldn’t find a spot and texted Rui. He came out immediately and got us a spot. Room was clean. Fun decorations. Comfy bed. Highly recommended!!!
