The room/bungalow we had was amazing and very functional. The staff is very nice and caring. The pools were very clean as well as our room. It looked like paradise on Earth. It was so relaxing to be there, I wish we had stayed longer. They took the time to even book us some day trips with some tourist guides they know, and we were not disappointed. They took very good care of us, and we had some unforgettable moments and lifetime experiences. The owners trusted us with the drinks, and we felt like home, just like the meaning of the word KOUNZO. Please take the time to sit and chat with the owners as this is - 1st of all - not a typical cold B&B but rather a big warm international family. 2dly - they are so knowledge of life and have a couple of amazing stories to tell. So get the right spirit while visiting them, not matter if you go with your partner, a group of friends, or your family. We left our hearts there and with eyes full of tears of joy. Set in Mar Lodj, Nguel du Saloum - Chez Abdou et Mar features accommodation with seating area. With quiet street views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The guest house offers an African restaurant as well as free WiFi. Very nice place in the beaitiful Mar Lodj with friendly owners. Our favorite part was food, we had 2 dinners and a lunch, and they were all super delicious.

The warm reception at a rest hole by an artistic local soul. The dive in the Atlantic from this island. A 13,000 cfa per kg of fresh sea lobsters for dinner. Plus a 1000 cfa large squid, it was the best deal.

At the inn rooms come with air conditioning and a private bathroom. The property was recently renovated and the room was clean. The staff was incredibly (!) kind and helpful and the owner was very friendly as well. We enjoyed the garden with many different birds (birdwatching from the pool) and the delicious meal that was prepared for us. The boat tour arranged through the property was amazing. If you want to enjoy Toubakouta and not spend too much, I highly recommend this place!
