We are two young women and we stayed at the Ruhija Gorilla Guest house for one night and then tracked with the gorillas the next day but we would have stayed longer!
Our room was fantastic, spacious, clean and with two big comfortable beds. The dinner they cooked for us was great and Cylia is careful to fulfil your every wish.
Before dinner we visited the village (an experience not to be missed) we met the local people and visited the school and the orphanage; all the people are extremely kind.
In short, incredible experience, thank you Cylia for your kindness and hospitality!

The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and easy going. We really enjoyed the food they served. The place is located in an unspoilt area, distanced from the city and other lodges. Wr highly recommend Amasiko.

Location and view is excellent. Also, the kitchen staff was accommodative to our request for the breakfast. We travelled with friends and family having strict dietary restriction and they made excellent breakfast specifically for us.

The location is good, this is quiet yet not far from the center. James is an awesome guy :) he walked me to my friend and checked on me later at night to see if everything was ok. Very caring and helpful. The garden is beautiful.

This place is magical. It is very peaceful, quiet and well kept. The staff is lovely and we felt at home straight away. Everyone is very flexible, uncomplicated, and we can highly recommend this eco-friendly place. The prices of both the rooms and the (delicious) food are very fair and this has been one of our hightlights of this year. Gad gave us good recommendations on what to do around the area, and following his advice has made this stay even more beautiful as we also got to explore the area of lake bunyonyi. We will be back!

Fortuna team is the nicest; very helpful and we had a lovely night all together around the firecamp! It was my 2nd stay here and it feels like home. On top of that food is delicious, place is very quiet but not too far from city center and beds are very comfy 👌

The staff of the guesthouse is super helpful and everyone is nice. The room and the other common spaces are clean and quiet, there is also a big balcony and a garden area if you want to chill. I tried the restaurant and I would say that you can get a good meal for 15.000-30.000 ugx, both local and international food. Don't expect a luxury resort but you will find everything you need for 1-2 days in Kabale.
