We wanted to be close enough to the action to enjoy where we were staying, but not so close that the noise and crowds became a problem. The ACOTEL Onyx was spot on. Positioned on the Reeperbahn right next to a railway station, but few blocks walk to the real hullabaloo of St Pauli. The position also means it’s close to the Langdungsbrucken wharves for boat tours etc. Add to that the comfortable, well presented rooms and you are on a winner here.

Perfriendly (charge for one night with the dog +15euro) Gas heathers on the walls and you can easy regulate which temprature you would like. We use ferry Boat to go to Hamburg (very easy buy the tickets in the port and go there) + you must to take the train/bus also to came to old centrum. Dog of course everywhere with us without problem and charge free. Perfect traditional small bakery on the corner from the hotel

Daily ticket itself is worth of 8Eur/day. Would be happy to visit Intercity Hotel again.
