Loved staying on a houseboat - a first for us! It was very comfortable, well equipped and in a great location.

Loved the concept of the hotel boat, it was clean , well presented , comfortable and the staff were really friendly.

The location, the restaurant and the staff. Also interesting to see the locks in operation and how the boats and sail yachts make their way up the Lochs.

First time on a houseboat so new experience, great location, breakfast basket was good, comfortable beds.

I felt deceived, not saying this is "boat hotel " Very small narrow rooms with incline... The sink was so small... Breakfast so uncomfortable to have because of the incline Not recommend, beware!!

Beautifully restored Art Deco styled boat hotel.

A chance to stay somewhere a little different. The house boat was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had (almost) everything you could need. There's not much to do on site apart from relax, but that was perfect for me to get away from it all for a short while. There are plenty of different birds living on or visiting the lake, and some really nice natural wildflower areas. Also spotted a large deer in the distance, so it's good for nature spotting!

Very happy with the room and facilities. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly too. The hotel is well placed for bike hire, walking trips, and sightseeing around the Cairngorms National Park. We would definitely stay at the Boat Hotel again
