Staying at Ambiorix was such a delight. The beauty of the restored house matched the warm hospitality of Inga. I stayed for three nights and it was more than comfortable. Everything was complete, comfy and clean. Add to that Inga as host! She was thoughtful, welcoming and open for a chat!

The location is terrific - next to Place Jourdan and Park Leopold. My two kids could use a playground directly across the street and a bigger one with a sandbox at Park Leopold. There are public transport options nearby and it takes about 30 min to walk to the tourist center. The apartment is new and comfortable with space to spread out in and not feel cramped.

The apartment is very big. It's near the subway and other Public transport. The host is very friendly and has a big binder on what to do and helpful tips. There were basic necessities like a lot of coffee and a coffee machine (nespresso). There where even 2 PC's and a printer to use. We could use the guest Netflix / Spotify account, There was a lot of attention to safety with clearly marked escape floor plans.

He was very welcoming with some helpful advice but then allowed us privacy in the apartment. There were good washing and drying facilities. The location, Uccle, is away from the centre of Brussels but the public transport is manageable, the suburban village is very pleasant and safe, and is well situated if you want to visit the site of the battle Waterloo - which should not be missed!
