The pousada is incredibly welcoming. The structure is very nice, with almost all the rooms facing the delightful internal garden. The view outside is also pleasant. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. But the real strength of the pousada is the staff. The owner is exceptionally kind and is also very chatty and nice. She doesn't speak English but we understood each other perfectly using Google Translate. A special note of merit for the breakfast: vast choice, delicious food that is served in the garden by a also very kind lady. Highly recommended!!

The owners are incredible! Chris and Gisela went above and beyond to help whatever we needed and even provided pickup and drop off to/from the terminal. Room was clean and breakfast was great too. Highly recommend to anyone that don’t mind the walk up from centro!

Jeronimo is one of the best hosts in the world, in the morning he prepares coffee for the guests and he keeps everything very clean. The hostel has home vibes and very quiet although it is in the center of the village. The kitchen is spacious, you can have your clothes washed, and there is a common space with a comfortable sofa.
