The apartment is like home away from home -very clean, cosy. The bed is comfortable with good pillows. The kitchen has everything you need to cook although we did not cook. The location is perfect, about 5min walking to the coop suppermarket and 7 min to the lake promenad and allestauranrs. We can definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Wanda was a wonderful host! We arrived late and did not have time to shop for food, so she gave our kids some of her cereal bars :) The property is located in a residential area, across the street from a park. It is very calm. You will need to drive (or public transit) to Locarno, but is close to the centre of Ascona and there are groceries a short drive away and easy access to other routes. The apartment was very clean and everything looks new. Our family of five was very comfortable there. We recommend!

Our concierge described Ascona as a “sleepy village” and I couldn’t agree more! Such a cute place and our room was wonderful! We loved sitting on our terrace and it was conveniently located near restaurants. We walked around near the lake a bit before leaving in the morning.
