We had the whole ground floor of the house to ourselves, including our own kitchen and outdoor seating area. Home is < 100 feet from the lake front with a lovely public lawn on the water to sit in. Host was incredibly kind and accommodating - she did a load of laundry for us as we were in the middle of a long trip, and offered to pick up groceries we needed from Lidl as the store in town is quite expensive. Lots of pamphlets in the house with information on nearby excursions and other activities.

It was a little difficult to find the place because it hasn’t any name or table to show where is it exactly. But thanks to friendly owner (after contacting her/him) we finally reached our place. The twin bed room was beautiful decorated and everything looked as new and it had a very nice good working bad/toilet and shower and a beautiful view over the Interlaken lake and mountains. There is a restaurant next to the car park area, where you can buy food between 10am-11 pm, you will receive a free car parking card from the owner. We had bread and toppings with us because there is for this low price no meal included, but the room has coffee and tee water cooker and hair dryer. The hotel entrance is at the rear of the building follow e-mail order confirmation instructions, owner is very friendly, still planning to open their own restaurant again in a few months time. We had a good sleep too. And strand access to the lake for a swim/walk/boating.
