Fantastic little hotel in a cute village just outside Guilin and only 5 minutes drive to the Reed Cave. Classy, modern and large rooms facing the mountains. Extremely helpful staff that will arrange drop-off and pick-up, as well as Li River cruise at discounted rates. Top marks and highly recommended.

The host is so nice and friendly. He could arrange and do whatever you ask for if possible. He always prepares a delicious breakfast with free Fruit and also provides a gift when I was leaving from this stay. The room is neatly, clean, well design and also has a great mountain view. He did a free upgrade for us when we were checked in. It is recommended for whom like the nature and simple village life style.

Extremely warming staff and great service. The breakfast was very good, a lot of extra snacks and fruits were provided as complimentary gifts! Extraordinary view from hotel and nice experience of such a special village in Guilin. The owner even provides taxi-calling and takeaway-ordering service to perfect our staying experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Secret Courtyard in the lovely quiet village of Lujia, close to the Reed Flute Caves and only a convenient 15 min taxi into the city. The host always went out of his way to help us and make our stay really awesome. Super helpful and friendly with great local recommendations and day trip tips. The Guilin noodles for breakfast are worth a special mention!

Nestled in a charming ancient village amid the bustling post-industrial city of Guilin, this small and bucolic hotel stands out. The rooms are an absolute delight—comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owner and his mum efficiently manage the place. His tremendous help elevated our trip to another level, giving us precious recommendations and smoothing out the bumps along the way. As road to Chinese countryside/2nd tiers-city tourism can be really though and bumpy sometimes.

The accommodation is located in a beautiful small village close to the center of Guilin. The room is beautiful, big, well decorated and with all amenities needed. For breakfast you can have the famous Guilin noodles, which are delicious. Xiao Ming is a great host and made my stay super comfortable. He helped me find out how and where to buy the cruise tickets and where to find the street food I was looking for. The free pick up from the train station was a nice touch :)
