Our stay in Polar Aurora Cabins was one of the highlights of our trip to Lapland! The cosy cabin is just magical with its roaring fire to retire in front of after a day of snowy adventures, and wooden ladder to an attic room for the kids! We started our days with a Finnish sauna - (complete with rubbing ourselves with snow!) and a coffee on the terrace. The kitchen is very well equipped so we were able to keep down our costs by cooking our meals (although other guests raved about the food prepared by Miika and Jaana in the Kota!). The kids had a blast making friends and sledging in the surrounding forest. The cabin is well out of the village, so it feels totally secluded, but of course, close enough to make visits to the supermarket. We arranged our transfers from the airport, to the supermarket and to our next accommodation with Miika, who was always on hand to help us with anything we needed during our stay. We also booked the husky experience through Polar Aurora Cabins and it was sensational! All in all, we had a fantastic experience - you won’t regret booking your stay here!

Checkin with Natasha was super smooth and pleasant. she took the time to show us every single room in the property and we really appreciated it. sauna is incredible, double showers, kitchen equipment amazing. also perfect for a group of 4 people. one thing we loved was the car cover.

The excursion team had amazing energy engaging and was always so nice. Do the excursion especially the snow mobile , and reindeer learned a lot. The team in dining area always helpful and attentive. Liked that they do turn off lights in the path when northern lights happen , they should put that somewhere . Did the private sauna worth it , so clean and nice and nice hot shower. Location is good love the town, we walked and went to the little forest so beautiful.

The aurora cabins were perfect, very clean and modern. We were lucky enough to be able to watch the stars and the Northern Lights from bed one evening. We even had Rituals products in the bathroom! The restaurant and bar was a great communal space and we couldn’t fault the food at all, every dish was fantastic with plenty of choice. A massive thank you to all the staff who were very helpful, welcoming and made our stay so memorable!

Unlike most places in Finland you won’t need to pay additional for bed linen and there are no hidden costs. There is a sauna inside and a fireplace . Very quiet and tranquil place . Sergei , the owner, was always very quick to answer any questions we had .
