We were driving in France for 17 days, and this was the nicest property we stayed at. We stayed in Studio 2 and it is beautifully decorated. All the amenities are first class. Kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is huge with double sinks. You don’t find that very often in Europe. The bedroom is very large with lots of room to open your suitcases. The air conditioning worked well and there is plenty of natural light in the unit with windows that open if you prefer fresh air! There is a private entrance to both units. Studio 2 is on the top floor and there is a staircase to access it. The two units share a sun-room full of tourism pamphlets on the Loire Valley attractions and restaurant suggestions. Private parking is included. Atelier Vinci is in a residential area, and is approximately 2.5 km from the downtown core. We had a car, so this was no issue for us. Also, Amboise offers plenty of parking near the core, on the riverfront. We would zip down for supper. For restaurants, we recommend advanced reservations for the top rated restaurants, because many are tiny and fill up quickly. For those who would rather wander, there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from where reservations are not needed. Amboise is the place to stay in the Loire Valley. It is smaller and much easier to negotiate. Thanks Gregory and Lea for being such wonderful hosts!

We absolutely loved this place. Erika is an excellent host who can help a lot on tourist highlights in the neighborhood. The room was kept very clean and we had a nice terrace. The breakfast was also very good. Apparently the place is frequented by parents with children, but as a couple it was fun staying here as well. We highly recommend this.

Breakfast is a wonderful start to the day where guests gather together to enjoy the home cooked treats made by Alison. We engaged in tails of our journeys and stories about our countries. It was the perfect start to each day. Nothing was too much trouble Alison recommended restaurants and assisted with sightseeing recommendations making our time here perfect in every way!

It was a lovely little place, and very different to stay in a cave. I loved the history of this town Leonardo de Vinci last home, he died there, and there were many kings and queens. A very interesting and gorgeous place to go. Highly recommend 👌

Easy 10 min. walk to the city center over the bridge. Nice welcome from Mary when we arrived. The bedroom and bath were beautifully updated. The shared kitchen worked well for us with coffee, tea, and a refrigerator. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant at the end of the street with an incredible view of the Chateau d'Amboise which is lit up at night. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mary for a lovely stay!
