The apartment is situated in the heart of the old city but still very peaceful. When we were visiting local rugby team has won European championship so there were a lot of parties in the city but there was barely any noise coming to the apartment. The apartment is decorated eclectic but very chic, so one can see that Virginie has an amazing taste! The bed was very comfortable with quality bedsheets, so even if I was 7,5 months pregnant when visiting, I had a most comfortable sleep.

It is extremely comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, lots of games including pétanque. The pool area is nice but can get a little busy and sun loungers are all in use by the afternoon. The location is great. The property is near a wide sandy beach - around 200m away. It was also very bright with a view of the bridge to the Île de Ré. Although it was not in centre ville (but very good for parking), we could cycle there (on cycle lanes) in 10 minutes. It was also well situated to cycle to the Île de Ré. We hired bikes and there was a room on the ground floor where we could 'park' them.
