Béatrice and Mir (and Minette, of course!) were absolutely fantastic hosts! I loved the individually and lovingly designed rooms and garden. You can feel the place‘s positive energy in every corner. It is a peaceful little paradise, still very close to the City of Vence. A bus stop is at 5 minutes walk at which you can catch a direct connection to Nice Airport. Also, it doesn’t even take 30 minutes to get to Fondation Maeght by walking through a forest nearby. Last but not least I have to mention Béatrice‘s superbe cooking: Even today I enthuse about her delicious dinner <3

Discreet and felt very comfortable. It is well thought out and had everything I needed. Nice garden setting but close to main road for ease of getting to main routes. I managed to find some running routes near by in the woods and up to the local historical village on the hill Saint Paul de Vence.

Without exaggerating, we can honestly say that staying 2 nights at this lovely B&B was a real highlight of our trip to Vence, a charming village close to St. Paul de Vence on the French Riviera. The Jardin D'Elma is tucked into a small side street within a few steps of the entrance to the old town. We arrived the day of Halloween and the town was buzzing with families in costume celebrating on the nearby garden square. Our wonderful hosts, Laurence (a female name in France) and Eric, were extremely kind and caring in every way. We felt like guests in their lovely home, which includes a small indoor pool with a Jacuzzi. It was the perfect place to relax after hiking the hills surrounding Vence and seeing the glittery towns of Nice and Cannes in the distance. If you chose to stay here and travel by car as we did, please note that there are 3 parking lots in walking distance from the B&B. It is also possible to stop and drop off your bags before going to the parking lot. In addition to the excellent breakfast offered by Laurence and Eric (French breads, fruit, crepes, fresh OJ, etc.), the table is surrounded by a library of excellent books (mostly in French). For a real treat ask Laurence for tea and see her unusual tea pot. Enjoy your stay at the Jardin D'Élma, Norm and Marion

The small guest house was perfect for our few days with a full kitchen (Martine has it well equipped and we typically cook while traveling), clean and tidy, wonderful light, lovely yard and hosts. If it was summer we would have used the pool! Very secure property but close to everything you need for longer term stays.

Breakfast was excellent and could be enjoyed in the garden, for a sunny and relaxing start to the day. The hotel was in close walking distance to the town centre to enjoy the bars and restaurants there in the evening. So it was a great location.
