The owner was more than helping and friendly. We were personally welcomed and after asking we were given beautiful recommendations for special shops and cafes. The room was absolutely lovely, we were stunned by the view and the location! If we come back to brighton we will most definitely book the Blue Sky Guest House again! Thank you for the lovely stay!

I was in Brighton for a 3 day fair and South Downs View turned out to be the perfect place to stay! Comfortable, spotlessly clean, with 24 access to the kitchen to make coffee and tea and use all the facilities, as well as to choose from a wide range of the uncooked breakfast provided at a time to suit myself. Excellent bus service to central Brighton with the bus stop just around the corner which meant that I could leave my car there, saving on the exorbitant parking fees in the city. I totally recommend this property as the ideal home from home place to stay to relax and recuperate at the end of a tiring day. Karen is delightful and very helpful.

It was such a beautiful room decorated in classic style. I was impressed how thoughtfully they've touched on every single detail, from the earplugs right next to your bed - to the various charging cables placed exactly where I needed. I would humbly give 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, location, and value. Big thanks to Michael and Paul for their kindness and gracious hospitality. I'll definitely visit again on my summer holiday:)

Excellent communication with the owner, and he met us on departure ... Even though it's all done by key box code. Great facilities.... Everything you could possibly need! Bubbly and choccies was a nice touch too! Tea and coffee, fresh drinking water etc provided too, and the Bluetooth speaker fed through to all rooms so it was nice to have our own music. Everything you could desire in a dungeon and medical room ... Plenty of condoms and lube too!! Parking in Regency Square (very close) was £30 for 24 hours, but it was secure and better than coming out to a parking ticket ... Which we saw a couple of cars in the street had got! Okay to unload but then just move your car. Had a fab Chinese in the China Garden close to the Holiday Inn. Overall, definitely worth the money, and great fun too!!!

The location if you are looking for something right in the middle of brighton probably can't be beaten. Everything was clean, good clear instructions provided 48 hours before for parking and access which was absolutely fine, no issues at all. Car park a little difficult to find but not impossible, just read the instructions! Beds were very comfy and slept very well. The kitchen was well set up, almost all the utensils were available. Lots of activities at the house eg. air hockey, board games which was a plus. So much potential to become a perfect stay as a holiday home, instead of student accommodation as it's what it is right now.
