Everything about the stay was exceptional. The lodge is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The park staff were welcoming and helpful. The park itself is stunning with lovely walks in nature to enjoy. Have to give a mention to Olivia,s Tea Room, the food drinks and service are fantastic.

(take the bus) The spa facilities were very good. The bedroom was spacious and warm. Outlet village only 3 miles down the road. Plenty of loungers by the pool side to relax! Good Thai restaurant less than 5min walk from Hotel as well as the Fat Abbot in the hotel grounds.

Décor and ambience of the hotel was very pleasant. Staff pleasant and helpful. Great location for a weekend visit to York, a short drive from the Designer Outlook village which is also the location of the Park and Ride into York. The Fat Abbot pub (part of the complex) served a nice range of food and just the other side of the church (about three minutes walk) is a nice Thai restaurant which we enjoyed.
