I usually don't write any reviews but now I really have to. It is very hard to explain how wonderful our stay at Chy Bre was! Mary was the most helpful and kind person (and host) we have ever met during our travels. Everything was so perfect, comfy bed, big bathroom, amenities, location (close to the city centre and bus station etc.) and we were even given a ride from the station to the apartment with no extra cost! The room was cleaned everyday up to a very high standard and even our dirty clothes, which we had left to dry for the day, were washed, dried and ironed by Mary when we were out. I would suggest Chy Bre for everyone who is looking for a nice place to stay at Truro. Thank you for everything!!!!!

exceptionally well stocked, clean, beautifully decorated and designed, supremely comfortable sofas and bed, great kitchen. it’s in a lovingly restored old house and gives off proper countryside vibes. it’s quite secluded, and nothing is really close - which doesn’t matter because that also means it’s located well and nothing is really far away. it’s an amazing location for a „base camp“ if you want to explore Cornwall. I simply cannot recommend this enough, it is probably one of if not the best stay we’ve ever had.

The property was very clean and tidy and had everything you could possibly want. As soon as I walked through the door, I felt very much at home, it was cosy and spacious at the same time. When I arrived, there was a cream tea, eggs, milk and porridge waiting for me, which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this holiday home and will definitely be coming back. The host gave simple instructions with a useful photo near the end to ensure the final turn was made correctly, and the key system worked well. Everything inside was perfect - terrific white goods, comfy sofas and beds. Two excellent showers. Only a minute or two's drive from the edge of Truro. A great bolt-hole from which to explore Cornwall's north and south coasts. The kids absolutely loved it.
