The breakfast was terrific. The location was interesting and lovely. We just had a bit of a problem with our constantly rerouting GPS after visiting the Mizen Head finding our way back!!!!! Kathleen was a wonderful hostess!

Christine and her lovely family were the best hosts we could imagine. We will definitely come back the next time we come to Ireland. The cottage was very convenient and cosy. The area is absolutely beautiful and offers many opportunities for hiking, running and water sports nearby. We loved Heir Island, Cape Clear and Lough Hyne. We wish we could have stayed longer.

A great view of the ocean inlet from the kitchen was there and the location is good for journeys in the nearby landscape. The wifi was fantastic and located in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped and we loved having breakfast there. Another plus was the new washing machine. The bed was also very comfortable. I would love to stay here again.

The location is very quiet and is popular with walkers and joggers while also being very close to the picturesque village of Castletownend and numerous beaches. Also being close to Skibereen makes it a lovely base to explore West Cork.
