Mama and Alessandro are great hosts and we felt super welcomed. They even provided gluten free options for breakfast upon our request. The place is clean, with all amenities, a huge terrace with an incredible view and very well located, close to the ferries and to the buses that take you anywhere on the island. Portoferraio old town is at walking distance.

Our room was located on the third floor (with a balcony) and had a spectacular view out over the ocean. The location was outstanding, with only a short walk to the port of Portoferraio. There were lots of restaurants in the port and also along the beachfront across the street from the hotel. We had chosen to have breakfast included at the hotel-----which was very good-----with an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean.
