The property was quite walkable from the ferry terminal (15 min while wheeling a large duffle and carrying a backpack). The location was 5 min from a gorgeous beach and less to the main square. 10 minutes to the bus station. Simone met us outside the property, gave us a full orientation, and provided additional info via WhatsApp when we had more questions. He was also very responsive to our questions following our booking and prior to our stay. Finally some prior reviews reference a charge for linen and towels but they were included as part of our stay.

We do not speak any Italian and Cristina has very little English but with her cellphone translation app we communicated easily. She went above and beyond to help us arrange a boat trip to La Maddalena Islands, one of the highlights of our trip. The breakfast she offers includes hard boiled eggs, breads and pastries, cereal, yogurt and more. If Booking.com allowed it we would give Villa Cristina a 10+ rating!

The breakfast was superb, and served by the most delightful staff. They bring in a wide variety of pastries from the bakery down the street, also operated by the same owner. The room felt brand new and sparkling clean. The villa is within driving distance of dozens of breathtaking beaches; honestly, the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen in my life.
