the exterior was historically beautiful, we had both apartments 4a and b and they were great for different reasons. Both apartments were well stocked with everything we needed. Blow dryer, iron and the Owner Nicole left us a nice gift of wine and snacks. She went above and beyond to offer gluten free snacks when I mentioned I was gluten intolerant. Amazing. There were some stairs walking up to apartments and both apartments were multilevel, could be an issue for some, but not for us.

The apartment is spotlessly clean, well equipped, in a great location and the terrace has the most breathtaking views over Lake Como and the hills behind Varenna. Roomy for two, perfectly fine for four, you'd be hard pressed to find a better base for exploring Lake Como. Proximity to the ferry is a great advantage and the short walk along the promenade into Varenna is delightful.

The room was very large, clean and fully equipped. The view from the Balcony – exceptional. Free parking for guests – right behind the hotel. Breakfast was just I needed. Not a huge choice but more than enough.
