The host was super friendly and attentive. He picked us up after dinner and took us into town the next morning based on the time most convenient for us. Room was big and clean. Separate tatami area was spacious. Onsen on premise was great! A very comfortable stay!

This is very unique place to have a relaxing time with family and friends. I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

I recently stayed at this onsen resort in Yufuin and it was hands down the best onsen experience I've ever had! The rooms were incredibly spacious, equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a microwave and all cooking essentials. The private outdoor onsen was simply spectacular, offering a serene and private escape. It felt like having our own private villa in the heart of nature. Yufuin itself is a charming town, adding to the overall magic of the stay. What's even more surprising is the affordability of this luxurious retreat. Having stayed in much pricier onsen resorts before, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. I can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise in Japan. Highly recommended!

The onsen was great my room was clean and everything was very comfortable. There's even Netflix but the star of the show is how kind the owner is. He was overly helpful I drove and the road up to the house is a little scary as an American its hard. He drove my car down for me and im forever thankful I didn't crash my rental car. Very comfy nice stay close to everything I recommend it There's also a cool shrine with giant trees nearby. I recommend it

The staff went above and beyond in attending to our needs as the only Western guests during our stay. We appreciated the location away from the busy town but a short walk from Kirin Lake. The private onsen is a plus feature with indoor and outdoor pool except that it is located outside the lobby building. In cold season, it can be pretty unpleasant to walk out in the cold. Instead the public onsen is in the same building as the rooms and lobby. A good place to stay as it is located within walking distance to the kinrin lake and floral village.
