Had the most amazing experience at this property. Located beside the main road, 2-3 minutes drive to the Maskeliya town. Room was just as described in the website, very spacious, clean and fresh. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. And there were extra pillows and sheets in case you needed. There were ironing facilities, a mirror, a table lamp beside the bed, a towel rack and an extra cloth rack. And there were two plugs on each side near the bed. Towels and free toiletries were also provided. Bathroom was also very clean and equipped with necessary items, and had hot water facility also. And you can buy food from their with a range of options. And there was a shared balcony with a beautiful view, a dining area, and a fan to use if needed outside the rooms. And most importantly the owner was very friendly and kind enough to guide us through the places that we could visit. Highly recommended for anyone who wish to visit Maskeliya. Really worth the money you pay.

I loved being at Narra Homestay. It is a wonderful family that will help you in anyway they can. As a solo traveler, I always felt taken care of. On my first night, I arrived SUPER late and coincidentally Narra was arriving from Colombo to Hatton around the same time… he kindly gave me a lift to his homestay on his bike. It was very lucky for me but extremely kind of him. He organized a tuk tuk for me to climb Sir Pada, which is a few kms away. Later, the caretaker of the place took me through the village to the water. Oh, the food is absolutely YUMMY… finger licking food. The location is amazing… I would recommend going grabbing tea at a kade a few meters left of the Homestay… it is literally the best vibe!!!

Beautiful location right on the lake. Maskeliya is a lovely little town with a lot of great things to do in the surrounding area (Sri Pada, tea plantations, Gartmore Falls). Mountain View rooms were spacious and well equipped. Ishara and her husband, Yugantha, were fantastic hosts - they took care of our every need (e.g., organising transport, tours, food preferences), always with a smile on their face. Yugantha’s food was always delicious, especially his rice and curry.

We had a great 3 night stay at Butterfly Mountian Lake Side. The deck was great and the food and hospitality was over the top. Great service, nice meals and friendly staff.

Shanta and his familiy are the nicest family of all Sri Lanka! Really. Shanta took me in the middle of the night to the startpoint of Adam's Peak. He also took me and two other guest to the Moray Waterfall which is a must see if you are in this area. We could enjoy our time at the waterfall as long as we liked. Shanta patiently waited for us. The food is amazing and Shanta, his wife and his mother have beeb serving it always with a big nice smile. The lake nearby is awesome for a little morning dip or for a relaxing afternoon after hiking. I loved everything about the stay and could have easily stayed another week to fully explore the whole area. (Unfortunately that wasn't possible because of my flight)

The hotel is placed near the lake with a beautiful view. The family owning the hotel made the stay an incredible experience by being extremely friendly with us. They made us amazing food which we enjoyed while watching the sunset. Best of luck to them!

The hotel is clean, nice and great located. There is a nice view when you go out of the room. Chatu, The owner of the place was kind, generous and helpful. Chatu has really good suggestions on where to go and offers really good food in the place.
