This is a very lovely home stay. The owner is very kind and helpfull with everything. The appartment has also a part where you can sit on a couch. The beds are very good, there are extra blankets when it's cold. You can also have dinner here, the food was really good. The owner speaks good English and plays music for us. Araa and his mother are such great hosts and the kindest people ever. Room is clean, shower hot, blankets warm. Breakfast is local and very good. Mom prepared amazingly delicious dinner for us, probably the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. Araa took us on tea factory & waterfalls tour for a good price and it was very enjoyable. He also went out of his way and picked us from some distant village where we got stuck after our train stopped. We felt like at our home and would definitely come back. :)

They went above and beyond to help me when my scooter broke down 25 mins drive away, coming to pick me up with a truck for the scooter and were hugely helpful with local arrangements, suggestions and with making sure I could do my online meeting.
