Shekhar and his place were fantastic. Though my room was on the small side it was perfect for my needs. It was clean and comfortable and I was made to feel at home. I stayed for about a week and was welcomed into Shekhar's world, including the local music scene and seeing a different, more vibrant, side to Bhaktapur than I had experienced during a previous 2 day visit. Shekhar rented me a mountain bike at a very reasonable price and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable.

The owner are very kind and helpful, the room cozy and nice (the mountainview is amazing!) and the location great. We loved staying in the village. We had the chance to get to know the Nepal village life. We have seen how the traditional masks were made and came in contact with a lot of locals. A few shops are inside this little city so we could buy everything we needed and we walked just two minutes to a nice temple. From Changu it took us around 20 minutes by bus until we were in Bhaktapur.ChristinFamily with young children
