Our stay was great. The cabin is located in a quiet part of the island on the edge of a beautiful bay that you can swim, snorkel and kayak in. Johnny was also a great host and was very accommodating, driving us to get dinner each night and also bringing us to the market on the way from the airport. Johnny's mum was also lovely.

The hotel is situated high up on a mountain side. The view of the expanse of the blue ocean was magnificent. The serenity of the place helped to distress and then to soak in the beauty that was all around us. The valley on the side of our bungalow was exceptionally beautiful, I love listening to the chirping of the thousands of birds in the trees. Sandrine and Laurent are wonderful people and do their best to help out their clients and make their stay as memorable as possible. Laurent was a jewel as he washed my rental car before I left Fare Mahi Mahi. What a sweetie!!! Thank you so much, Laurent!!! I asked for extra pillows as I need to sleep with a lot of support for my back, needless to say, I slept extremely well, thank you Sandrine!!!

The hosts were amazing and so friendly - I loved that we could chat with them and the other guests if we wanted to, and it felt like a super personable welcome to Raiatea. The room was nice, although I hadn't realized when booking that it was accessed via a ladder and had a shared bathroom that was downstairs. In either case though, this was the perfect place for us to stay for 1 night before taking off on a sailboat for a week, and I would recommend Villa U'upa to a friend coming to Raiatea.

I found it very comfortable for a solo woman traveller. The hostess Marie & her husband were also very empathetic seeing I was alone and gave me pizza on my first night. They also bought dinner for me on my last night. Truly recommended & great Wi-Fi, very clean, air con, tv with utube Netflix etc. 100m to Yee Foo Magasin & super comfortable.

Emanuelle and Gilles are fantastic hosts who made us feel very comfortable. It was nice to talk to them during meals. They also care for small details that made us feel home, e.g. for breakfast, they put fresh flowers on the plates every morning. There is enough room and the boat was clean.

Everything. The room was so clean, nicely decorated, excellent AC, bathroom, kitchen, high ceilings and amenities. The hosts were responsive and friendly. There was a gate and parking for my rental car, and the location was close to the airport and town so it was perfect!

What a beautiful Gem. Private and very close to town and superette. Jean is an extremely kind and helpful host. His english is perfect, nothing was too hard. The house catered very very well for my family of 8 (including a baby). Plenty of space, huge lounge, kitchen and bedrooms. Spent every day in the water swimming and snorkeling. He booked restaurant Villa Ixora for dinner (highly recommended), booked boat trip, car and all we wished. There are kayaks a bicycles available for free. Definitely recommended to paddle on the kayaks to the close motu where there was a beautiful beach. The owner has two nice big dogs who are running around and are very friendly also to the guests.
