You live almost like a local. Annabelle took care of you from the time I got there - 11am - to when I left after the checkout time. Ghagha prepared coffee for the guests with a side of pan de sal in the mornings. She had a bunch of bananas (caraw type?) which was a good meal in itself. Some local suman was also on the porch for people to share. Annabelle’s place is not fancy. It is a house and you stay in a bedroom. No hot showers but with the humidity in town, it really does not matter. Support the small businesses in the area and Annabelle is one of them.

We loved everything. The hotel is located 5 min walk from the beach area, in a quiet part of the town. The hosts are simply wonderful and so helpful and their attention to detail is remarkable. The room we had was very spacious, large comfy bed, great bathroom with hot water and private terrace. Breakfast was good. We rented a motorbike and were given great spots to visit. Although the ride can be tough at times (no paved roads), we discovered wonderful beaches and villages north of Port Barton. We typically had dinner at Oasis just 5 min walk, which offers great food. We had a wonderful time.

very nice place, especially the beach, which was “ours”. Erika was not only an excellent cook but also helpful in any case. The private island hoping with Baron was fun as well. The owner, Mal, regularly inquired about our well-being. overall we highly recommend the place.

Larry was an excellent host, he helped us book our boat tour as well as our bus to El Nido for a good price. He answered all the questions we had regarding our trip in Palawan. Room is big with shelves, table, a big private bathroom and a nice balcony. It was very clean. Lots of room to dry your clothes/bathing suits. Water available on site (5pesos/liter refill). Location is good (calm area but very close to center). Very comfortable beds and good wifi. No AC but the fan was more than enough for us.
