It doesn’t feel like a hotel or alike, it feels like you’re on an exclusive visit at Abilio’s cool Mansion where it’s a privilege to relax and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. There’s everything you need to stay entertained for a while: swimming pool on the roof, tennis court, private beach access, well equipped gym, and even ping pong and pool tables. I had a wonderful stay and will surely come back!

Wowww, THE BEST!!!! First off, the owners, Marta (!!!) & Nelson. Nicest, most helpful, responsive & friendly people ever. They went above & beyond to help locate someone to rent wing foiling equipment to my husband, plus were helpful in so many other ways. Next, what a true gem of a place- clean, comfortable, all needed amenities & in such a gorgeous setting in a beautifully restored building in the old part of town. Wonderful views and rooftop lounge areas, with jacuzzi even. Great breakfast and coffee (!), served in their beautiful garden restaurant, which also serves excellent food & drinks at night! Sadly, we missed Sunday night when they have live jazz there. There’s also a great common area kitchen should you choose to make your own meals. Such peaceful, mellow, chill vibes! We plan to return for longer! Thanks again!

The room was clean, bright, and fresh. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were high quality. The bathroom was modern, and the shower had good water pressure. Overall, we were happy with the room. The location was pretty good---near stores and restaurants but still quiet at night. The beach was a short walk away.

We enjoyed staying in a property surrounded by a garden, with parking within the property, but still in walking distance to shops/ restaurants. Alvor boasts a wide selection of restaurants, we had great Japanese food at Omakase and a very good wood fired pizza at Peperoncino. There are of course also a lot of restaurants with local food, and although it was the end of November still many wete open. I can also recommend the bakery in town for great bread and pastries(or on the spot breakfast). The house had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The wifi was excellent, which for us was very important seeing that we are on a ‘workation’. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had very good water pressure. We stayed in the ‘fig house’, looking at the building it’s on the right corner. There are two terraces to choose from. It was great to have a washer and a rack to dry our clothes. The host supplied some ‘starter essentials’ such as tea, coffee and bottled water. There is an intermarche with a good selection a 3 min walk away( in fact you can see it from the terrace). The hosts were very friendly and the communication via what’s app was easy. Apart from the first night, we were the only ones there and had the place pretty much to ourselves. We enjoyed being able to help ourselves to lemons/limes and grapefruit from the garden. Considering we stayed at the end of November, the days were nice but the nights are very cool. There was a airco/heater system that kept the place comfortable, however heat tends to go up, where the bedroom is, to keep the ground floor warm there was an extra portable heater. There are two adorable dog and cats on the property.

We had a wonderful stay here. The breakfasts and the hosts were fantastic, they couldn’t do enough for us and they are very friendly. We loved the quietness of the area and enjoyed the outdoor terrace and the pool very much. We will be back!

We had a fantastic holiday, the Villa was superb and catered perfectly for the whole family (4 generations) ages 3 to 74. The villa is large and spacious just like the photos (It did not disappoint) The beds were extremely comfortable, we all slept very well. Carolina and Hugo was amazing! Carolina kept in touch with us throughout our stay incase there was anything we needed.
