It consists of 4 independent units classified by the Regional Government of the Azores as units for Rural Tourism, in the form of country houses, maintaining the traditional architecture of this area of the island of s. Miguel, but with the comfort of modern housing. The name of each house corresponds to the ancestors who lived there a few decades ago and the decoration dates back to those times, showing some utensils used by them and a little of the history of that time. All units are properly equipped, each one properly identified.

I had such a lovely time here. I enjoyed it so much, instead of adventuring out as soon as I woke up, I actually spent time at the apartment, enjoying the garden, the view of the ocean, and jacuzzi, right from the property. The owner met me to check me in. I love when people do quality work and from speaking to him, I could tell how much effort and pride he put into his projects. The owner is expanding and opening another space right across from this stay. My rental car was safely parked. I had access to a very clean laundry space, with a drying rack and also with detergent provided. The jacuzzi was incredible as well. The bathroom in the apartment is huge and I loved having so much space. I appreciated the small touches, like the chocolate on the pillows and the bath robes. Fresh bread is provided every day and you also arrive to a kitchen full of goodies, like local cheeses, pineapple, coffee, local jam, beer, wine. I am so happy I booked my stay here rather than in Sete Cidades.

Really enjoyed everything. If you're looking for quietness, great views of the see and green fields, but the same time access to all of São Miguel's great sites, like Ferraria and Lagoa das Sete Cidades, this is the place to be. The house is perfect (can't really understand how someone can put any problem in it), three big rooms with ocean view, 4 bathrooms, a beautiful and big yard on the back to just enjoy your drink, your book or contemplate the Ocean. We found Selma, the owner, to be a very nice and helpful person, receiving us with great joy and care. We're quite demanding travelers, but we found only comfort and space in this house. Do not hesitate for one second - this is the place to stay in São Miguel!

The owner tried their best to accommodate our needs 😍 views are amazing… but it was a shame that the weather wasn’t good enuf. Some comments mentioned the dogs next to the apartment but so far we didnt have any issue with the noise. The dogs only bark when u enter the property and that’s it
