Really nice, comfortable, spacious flat within a very tiny cosy village with narrow streets. All rooms were very clean and tidy. The terrace area with different corners to relax, read a book, enjoy the view,.. is a real bonus. The hosting couple were very friendly and helpful and gave us some nice tips to do in the area. Casa do Mar…wow!! Absolutely LOVED our stay. It was perfect all around! Loved the SOUND of the waves, the VIEWS, the LOCATION. We are retired and full-time travelers for 5 years now. Staying all over the world. This place is at the top of our list and we will return. Great little PRIVATE studio. Nice kitchen. We cooked most of our meals here. Great bathroom with plenty of hot water in the shower. All around, clean, tidy, well stocked home. The bed was very comfortable and simply DREAMY to lay in bed, sliding door open and see and hear the Atlantic. And the most special was the cats who visited us. Made our hearts full! We even named them. We enjoyed the little village of Jardim do Mar. It has two little restaurants, a small market and a great promenade to walk. Plenty of free parking and easy walking access to Casa do Mar. It was so fun leaving our ‘signature’ on the outside walls with our handprints. what a great idea. Thanks you hosts for sharing this special sanctuary with us. You definitely have something special here.
