We had a wonderful stay at Casa do Mar. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful view of the sea and Faial island on one side, and of Mount Pico on the other. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location - walkable distance from Madalena center and from several natural pools, and a 10-minute drive from the airport. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend!

The perfect location in the heart of Madalena. Easy walk to restaurants, grocery, etc. Parking easy to find near by (April). Our room was the top floor apartment, which was more spacious than anticipated. The kitchen was well supplied and the couch plus sitting area allowed for space to relax. Our host was very welcoming and provided good recommendations for our time on the island. Wifi worked well for video calls. We would stay again!

Beautiful apartment and surroundings, with great view of both the ocean and the volcano. The host was very helpful and friendly, and we really appreciated the hand annotated map of the island she gifted us. Following her advice, we had a very nice stay on Pico visiting the places she suggested. The apartment is very modern and well equipped with all the appliances we could want during our stay.

Common spaces are fantastic and private ones are just great. Beautiful, comfortable, clean and friendly place. Great views on Pico mountain ansd the sea. Environmental friendly. Nicolau and Eunice were the most amazing hosts to make our stay unforgettable, nothing ever seemed to be too much, from the gifts on our arrival to restaurant recommendations, to hosting us in their own home for massages. If you want a holiday where relaxation is what you’re after, then stay here.

It has a lot of space inside and also around the house. The village is very quiet, a good place to unwind, very close to the ocean.
