Pension is situated not far from the main road, but it was very quiet, we didn't hear car traffic noises. It had a very large courtyard with a football field and a ping-pong table (which we used). It also has a bbq area and covered parking places. The house is big, the room was bigger than other rooms, nice, quiet and comfortable. We didn't hear any noises from the neighbours. The kitchen was big and has all what you need in there. The host was very welcoming and helpful (and also gave as a rummy game to play). Nearby (15 min) is Vidraru Dam/Lake and Poenari fortress to visit. All was ok. Thank you very much.

A very good hostess. We were 2 hours late , arrived in the evening , but checked in without problems . Absolute cleanliness , the kitchen has everything you need , the territory is well-kept . Great mattress , we slept very well !!!

Perfect located right on the Transfagarasan. There are secured parking for motorcycles behind gate. It seems popular with motorcycle travelers doing the Transfagarasan. My room had a small balcony perfect for a afternoon beer after all the riding. Cold beers can purchased cheap across the street in a shop. There is a cafe 50 m away, which do simply hot meals.

Great place, newly renovated, really clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom and comfortable, spacious shower. We came a bit late because of the traffic but the hosts were helpful and friendly. I can definately recommend this place and we hope to come back again.

The pictures show the reality. We had a sunday night, so we were the only ones in the villa, felt like it was our own home for a while. Nice garden, many facilities, a place to eat 5min walking distance, near a lake. Very close to Poenari and Vidraru, you can have a challenging hike in Valea lui Stan. Totally recommended to get away from the city noise!
