The room is small and packed as expected from most places in SG. I stayed in a single room with a shared kitchenette next to a double room in the apart. The shared kitchenette has a sink (+ you can drink tap water in SG), kettle, a small fridge, and a microwave. The single room has a private toilet&bathroom, a small table with a study lamp (if you like to use a computer or read a book) hair dryer, a big screen TV, and a low-noise air-con. The bathroom has all these small amenities such as a toothbrush, showering gel shampoos, etc. Plus, there is free wifi in the room. -The reception staff were so nice and friendly. -The place is newly renovated, so everything is new in the room. -Everything was so clean. -There is a daily disposal of garbage service available. Apart from this, weekly room cleaning is part of the service provided. -The location was great. (Katong-Joo Chiat is famous for its historical Peranakan culture. I would recommend taking advantage of your location to discover more.) -The place is <=1hr away from all other popular places. -You can find many shopping malls, cafes, and supermarkets like FairPrice/NTUC or ColdStorage nearby. -You can also find many places to eat your meals around (If you are Muslim and looking for Halal, there are plenty of them as well). -The East Coast Park and Beach are 10 minutes away by walking. (This is one of the best places in SG whether you prefer a picnic, a short walk, just sitting and watching the sea, running, or cycling.)

This hotel is great for walking distance to everything around. We enjoyed the rooftop pool very much for the view, and 1 for 1 beers at the rooftop bar. The gym facilities are new and many machines which we liked. I think they also gave us a free upgrade to a larger room with a bathtub and a balcony view. The location was great, in walking distance of the Sentosa monorail, and in walking distance of lots of things. The pool was amazing, we quite comfortably spent hours by the pool. The room was very clean and spacious for a Singapore hotel, with the rooms being cleaned to a high standard every day. We appreciated the efforts to minimise waste, like the filtered water in the bedroom for example. We would very happily stay here again, and hope to do so whenever we return to Singapore!
