The overall experience was thought-through, and the attention to detail was impressive and rarely seen. The restaurant at the hotel had amazing food and an even better selection of wine and beer. The personnel was super kind and welcoming. This place is a true gem in the region.

The whole of the premises are extremely clean and very well appointed. All the health and safety criteria are covered. The rooms have a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a wide breakfast selection (continental) and the hosts are very obliging with any special requirements. The rooms and ensuite bathrooms are spacious. The beds are very, very comfortable. A lot of attention has been paid to every detail. Although Ilovka is very quiet, it's close to amenities, many places of interest, the airport, as well as the lakes (Bled & Bohinj). Wonderful views of the mountains. The hosts are genuinely welcoming and friendly. A big thank you to them for making our stay so special. We will return!

The location is absolutely stunning and there are free bicycles for rent if you want to have a ride to the nearby villages or the lake. In our room we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay, including ground coffee, 3 different types of coffee makers, oil for cooking as well as salt, sugar and tea. Clothes dryer outside, heated towel dryer in the bathroom. Such tiny details make your stay much easier and more comfortable.

The apartment met our expectations, AC was right on time when we hit very hot days, we enjoyed having dinner on the terrace. The location is quiet, but next to the main road. There is a good pizza place and supermarket nearby. Also we got to see some local traditions - there was a marriage in the village. Very much recommended!
