The owner was super nice and welcoming. The room was clean and had clean towels and soap etc. We checked in late and he was there to welcome us and we checked out at 10 am, but asked if we could leave our luggage until 8.30 pm and it was not a problem. The location and also the house itself are fantastic. It is an exceptional house and you can tell that the owner and architect have put a lot of thought into it. Everything is friendly and new in an open design, the view is great. There are two bathrooms on two floors, and actually everything you can imagine is there. The outdoor terrace and the separate dining area are also great. We immediately felt very comfortable and were incredibly happy to have found such a beautiful house for our holiday. The location is central between Ljubljana and the coast, by car you can reach the motorway after 15 minutes, and from there it is 30 minutes drive to Ljubljana or 45 minutes to Koper. However, you need a car in any case, as there are no shopping facilities nearby. Communication with the landlord was via booking.com and was exemplary, questions were usually answered immediately or within a day. The reception on site was personal and there were also good tips about the house and the surrounding area. We felt as if we were invited to the home of good friends!
