Our stay at Long Beach Chalet was the best part of our trip to Thailand. Located on a gorgeous beach in the serene Island of Lanta. We had booked the place for 3 nights, but ended up staying for 5. The breakfast was great with lots of options including thai dishes. The rooms were comfy with a view of the ocean and the numerous sun beds made it easy to grab a coffee or a beer and spend the day by the sea. The staff was very helpful and friendly and were able to arrange transportation for us. If you're planning to visit Lanta, I would highly recommend staying at Long Beach Chalet.

It is so beautiful here, you definitely will not regret this booking! The houses are directley at a nice and sandy beach, where you can swim in clear water. You can have a look at the sea when waking up, while breakfast, diner and while relaxing at your veranda (even on the toilet you can look at the sea if you want to) - with sunsets every night (can't see enough of them!). The houses itself are cute and very comfortable with everything you need (we cooked our own meals nearly every evening). Bars, restaurants, shops and fruit/vegetable markets are nearby. Paul and Joy are just so nice and welcoming. Paul is willing to organize everything and both of them make an effort for you to have anything and everything you need for your well being (even with nice gestures you didn't asked for) We wanted to stay for a week, but in the end we left no sooner than after four weeks. If we ever come to Thailand again, we will definitely plan some time to stay here again!

Very spacious rooms that are really clean and comfortable. Central location that has good restaurants and shops nearby. Most rooms have a balcony and there is a communal one too which is convenient if staying with a group. The fridges in the room are very big which is great for long stays. It is extremely good value for money and much better value than anywhere else we have stayed on the island over the years. The staff, especially Mai, were so friendly, helpful and kind, always going out of their way to help us! We arranged caving and kayaking tour, transfers, ferries, did laundry and even local tuk tuk collections with her and she gave us great prices and came to pick us up very quickly. No request was too much trouble. We felt like part of their family by the time we left! Thank you Mai and family for such a wonderful stay.

The Bungalows were very close to the beach, everything was clean all the time and the staff was absolutely awesome, I forgot my kindle there and they sent it by speedboat to my hotel in phi phi. I had an amazing time staying in Lanta Happy house. The location is so quiet and peaceful, better to have a bike to reach it but the owner also rents them. Rooms are perfectly clean, cozy, great bed, A/C, warm shower, fridge….everything you need for a comfortable stay. Your own patio with a hammock and seating area is the best 😍 The owner is super friendly, always available to anything you need. Absolutely would stay there next time when I’m in Koh Lanta!
