The host & her daughter were so funny and exceptionally welcoming! They made sure everything was perfect for our stay and were super helpful even with the language barrier. They were able to provide us 2 scooter rentals (koh yao yai was the only place in Thailand that I drove my own scooter it was very calm and remote). They brought us water and home made breakfast (the fried dough was amazing!) They were able to provide us a laundry service and our clothes came back very clean. I highly recommend staying at Relaxing House Koh Yao Yai and booking a Hong Island Boat Tour through the owner, it was our favorite boat tour that we did on our two months traveling throughout Thailand. The beaches were beautiful. It's a little away from the main tourist area which we found nice, a short 15 minute scooter ride if we wanted to get over to the resorts/ shopping. The bungalow was clean and we loved the owner's kitty's coconut would have my morning coffee with me while I worked remotely.

The room was very comfortable and clean, and it had a lovely outside seating area. The hosts were exceptional. They brought us breakfast in the mornings, gave us lifts to and from Laem Had Beach, and brought us coconuts on our last day! They are so very kind and made our stay so wonderful. Everything is great here! Surrounded by nature, perfectly located in the middle of the island. Very quiet and relaxing resort. Hosting family really nice. The place is spotless and the bed is comfortable. The price is super fair for the quality of the resort. You can also rent the scooter at the property.

The Location is great but you will need a motobike (they rent new motorbikes in pristine conditions) to move around the island. The bungalows are spotless and comfortable. 7 eleven is just a 3 minute walk. There are a few restaurants close by, sadly the best one closes after 6 pm. The owners are amazing and always trying to help you with a smile, and as others review mention they will pick you and drop you from the pier without hesitation. We will be back.

It's a quiet place in good location. 7 Eleven shot is only about 5 minutes drive. We stayed for 2 nights and we are happy with this place. Good value for money. Hot shower water is Good.

We loved this place, it's just a minute ride from the 7-eleven, but is a but hidden from the road and you get a nice view of the grove of gum trees, peaceful and quiet. In the room we had everything we needed, the bed was fairly comfortable, and there was a small wardrobe to hang clothes.

Great! It was so tranquil. You will absolutely need a bike to get around if staying here, you can rent one from reception and park it out front of your little hut. A lot of beautiful nature sounds. We were supplied with a fridge and a kettle as well as some coffee sachets for our stay. There is a little corner shop about a 3 minute walk away for any snacks. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. It ticked all our boxes.
