They were constantly offering us fruits, tea, and snacks for the duration of our stay and welcomed us into their family. Its truly an authentic experience worth doing as you are immersed in their culture and staying in the forest with beautiful views of the mountain. They offered free water and although you are not right in the town they offer food right on the property for cheap prices. We did both a rice paddies/monkey forest/waterfall tour and a private cooking class with the family and both were amazing experiences. Its not often you get to have private tours with the locals and get to learn so much about their culture. Each evening they had a fire where they would roast some corn or sweet potato for us. They really aim to please and make you have a great experience. The bamboo bungalow was beautiful and handmade. If you are thinking about booking.. do it now! You won’t regret it.

Wow what an absolute hidden gem. Loved our stay here, the place and room is amazing, the staff is the most friendly ever we even got a beautiful life guitar play during our dinner. The food is also delicious. Once we’re back in Lombok we’ll definitely stay here again.

Owner is extremely nice, the breakfast is very good and the owner invited us to dinner as well, the location is exceptional, it’s a 2 minute bike ride from the beach with amazing snorkeling.

The guys from the accommodation were incredibly nice and always made sure that you were very comfortable. The room was beautiful and clean. The location was also very good and not far from the harbor.

The whole experience was amazing. Peace, tranquility, incredible sunsets all in a fabulous setting & the lodges are unique & beautifully made. Just a 10 minute taxi ride into bustling Kuta town & beyond...for a day out Andreas recommended we visit Selong Belanak beach which was lovely....only 35 minutes away & taxis are arranged by the friendly staff. We also took advantage of the in-room massage services which were excellent . Communication from Andreas & the staff was very good, checking each day to make sure we had everything we wanted....well done...! We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Kalma. We were made to feel really welcome, totally at home..... highly recommended!!!!

We have traveled all over Indonesia, staying in numerous excellent hotels and bungalows, yet this place has been the most amazing by far. There is an immediate feeling of comfort at the reception with the lovely team. They have been available 24h for every little wish we had. The villa is built in a way that has the best feng shui ever. Every wall is rounded and you feel like there are no corners or edges anywhere. The details are full of surprises starting with even the dental hygiene kit ;) And then there is the POOL! What an amazing feeling to be able to jump into the ever refreshing water anytime you want. The bed - pure heaven! Finally been able to sleep through the night. Fantastic beach close by. You can order food from the area directly to your room. Including the most delicious pizza we've had in all over south east asia. So many more things to say but we dont want to spoil all the surprises. 10/10
