The family is so nice and made us feel super welcome. The place is idyllic: it's quite far from restaurants and stuff, but the secludeness of the place is what makes it so incredible. The cabins are very cute with a nice terrace. Facilities are okay: it's fine but not luxurious. There are lots of insects on Ometepe, so also at Rosa's Lake Cabins. I recommend renting a motorbike, because buses aren't frequent. The family is very helpful in many ways: recommending restaurants, arranging tours etc. They can also do your laundry. All in all, really a fantastic stay if you want to go off the beaten track!

Guests can walk 10 minutes into the village of Balgüe where there are restaurants and small convenience stores. Food delivery service is available from restaurants located in the nearby village. Ananda Guesthouse uses passive cooling techniques, bio-digestors, solar-heated hot water, organic farming and furniture made from locally sourced hardwoods. Amazing apartment with a huge bed and a lot of space. It was very handy to repack our luggage. Very good breakfast for a good price. Kind staff. Great garden. Two lovely dogs and a cool cat. You need go have a off road vehicle (but imo it is very handy for the rest of ometepe as well). There is nothing we didn't like. It was super!

Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant, serving breakfasts, snacks, smoothies and meals, all freshly-made made from organic ingredients. The area of this Finca is really magical, in my opinion this is the most beautiful part of the island as it is not crowded with people and you can have your own peace. The food offered at the property was great and delicious.

A couple of rooms have the option for AC at an extra cost. The staff is wonderful. The facilities are cleaned exhaustively every day and everyone is super helpful with anything you may need. Recommended!

The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

Abel and Lucy are amazing hosts with extremely beautiful place directly by the lake with sunset view. Around the rooms there is big garden with many trees and plants, and this is literally an artist house with even a small gallery of Abels painitings! Lucy is an artist in the kitchen, we tried Fish (fried and a caldo), repochetas (tortillas with beans, veggies and Cheese - super nice!), pasta and chicken and we loved each of those food. Place is very clean also. One of the best places I've been to in Nicaragua so far.
