Great location and view and Mama even arranged a pick up and drop off at a local restaurant which was a nice touch. I can highly recommend this accommodation if you're staying in Moorea

However, our experience at "Haere Mai | Te Fare" in Moorea shattered this notion. Opting for their "Family Bungalow" with two double beds and one single bed, a private bathroom, and a delightful balcony, we found a perfect blend of comfort and affordability at $135/night, with an additional $15 per person for a scrumptious breakfast. 💼💤 It's worth noting that payments are accepted only in local currency, and cards, Euros, or Dollars are not accommodated. 💳🚫💶💵 What truly set the ambiance apart was the captivating presence of a grand rubber tree at the heart of the property, coupled with Polynesian decor that adorned the entire space. The owners, exceptionally warm and attentive, ensured all our needs were met with enthusiasm. 🌳🎨🛌 However, accessing the location requires a rental car or at least a scooter, as it's a 5-minute drive from the main road, conveniently close to both the ferry terminal and the airport. Additionally, the Sofitel Hotel nearby offers a tempting day pass for exploration. 🚗🏍️🏨 I wholeheartedly recommend "Haere Mai | Te Fare" to fellow travelers heading to Moorea. The guest house features a children's playground and a 24-hour front desk. nice location, great little houses on the beach, everything very clean and looked after, kitchen was very well equipped (there was salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee…),dogs and cats behaved great and are very sweet, snorkeling in front of the property was great! sunsets were amazing! Alex and Tea were always reachable with tips and recommendations and tried to make our stay as nice as possible

Loved the location of the property, and the small bungalow had everything you need for a week's stay. Vanessa and David were the most wonderful hosts including their lovely white dog. They were helpful with any requests and queries.Breakfast upon request was excellent too!

Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course is 21 km from the holiday home, while Moorea Lagoonarium is 27 km away. The nearest airport is Moorea Airport, 22 km from Fare Mihiau. This is a great alternative in Moorea to the 'too-expensive' resorts. I loved this little efficiency apartment. It is inside a small gated property with the main (separate) house -- your car is safely inside the gate. The apartment is very tidy and clean. It is super quiet. I personally found the bed just fine. The kitchen has everything you'd need. (Perhaps a small paring knife for fruit could be added.) I bought fresh fruits from local roadside stands and used the kitchen for breakfasts and dinners. Made the entire stay more convenient. There is a small grocery/everyday shop a 5-minte walk away. They have lots of prepared foods for snacks or whatever. Go early because they sell out of prepared foods by noon. The host has a kayak for you to use. You can launch the kayak immediately outside the property -- there's an inlet from the lagoon, so it's very convenient.. One tip for Moorea: rent a scooter or car. This apartment is close to everything, but I'm glad I had a rental car. There are scuba & whale snorkeling places, restaurants, and other shops nearby. But, I saw a lot of tourists walking in the hot afternoon sun. Island buses are not frequent. Oh, one last thing. My Fare Mihiau apartment was only accessible from an outdoor stairway. It was no problem for me. It's sturdy and nice. But, keep that in mind if you have mobility concerns.
