A very comfortable place with a terrace, hammock, own bathroom and toilet and even with a garage for our car. Comfortable and big bed. Air condition + ceiling ventilator. The host was very friendly and flexible. Absolutely well-equipped, lovely and romantic place for a couple. It is quite close to the Yosemite national park. We would definitely come again. There were 1-2 friendly cats outside the house.

We truly recommend this place to anyone, who's planning a visit to Yosemite NP. The hosts, Ellen and Neil, were so lovely, friendly, and sweet. They gave us plenty of recommendations and updates on the area and Yosemite park, which we visited during our stay. They made us feel BETTER THAN AT HOME, and made the atmosphere in their lovely home super cozy, friendly, and so positive. They made us feel welcome 100% of the time, with perfect portion of privacy and we had no feeling of being 'visitors' any of the time, rather than it being 'common home of all of us' - SO NICE! :) The area around is lovely, you really feel connected to the nature and not feeling the rush of a city or busy roads. The facilities were more than satisfying. Very nice bedroom, really comfortable bed (we slept like babies after the hikes:)), fully equipped kitchen, our own fully equipped bathroom with soft towels and nice lavender soap - and the additional toothbrushes in case we forgot ours (that was a very nice touch :)), beautiful seating indoor area, and gorgeous outdoor seating, where we would enjoy our breakfasts with the sound of birds singing. If we could, we'd give 15 out of 10 points to this place and to our hosts. And if we're coming back to the Yosemite area, this place would be definitely on top of our list. I seriously mean it when I say that 10 is not enough for this stay. The place is fantastic, in the middle of green fields, silent and super calm. The hosts Nickey and Steve go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, adapt their schedules to acommodate yours and Nickey makes a GREAT breakfast. Another thing (super important to us) is the fact that they have an Espresso machine! As for the room: big, comfortable bed and clean Location wise it offers the best of both worlds: It's 10min away from the city center (Mariposa) where you will find nice restaurants, bars and stores and it's 1h away from Yosemite National Park, with a beautiful scenic route that most likely will make you stop every 10km just to take pictures. The level of comfortability is such that it literally feels like being at home. I would definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone! P.S.: A big plus, they have a very sweet dog that loves cuddles. But if for any reason you are not comfortable with it, they will respect that and make sure she is not around (to be honest, it would be your loss, she is too sweet not to want her around)
