The bathroom isn't the newest you've ever seen but the shower's water pressure was fantastic (way better than a fancy 3-star hotel we stayed at, where it was barely more than a drizzle) and there were big, soft, fluffy towels. The porch in front of our room had a swinging bench, where my husband and I sat sipping drinks and watching the sunset over the mountains. We stayed at the Berkshire Inn for 3 nights and each morning, we were warmly greeted by the lovely owners and enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast. The best start for a long hiking day in the park! There was an array of options at the counter (homemade zucchini bread, juice, tea, coffee, breakfast rolls, fruit) and the owners made scrambled eggs or pancakes with fresh fruit to order! The cherry on top for us: during our vacation, we missed our dog enormously but the elderly family dog Buster is a total sweetheart and we enjoyed his company a lot. If we ever come back to Yosemite, we'll stay here again for sure.

Our room was so lovely to arrive home to after a long day in the park and had plenty of space too.
