An excellent large-dog-friendly (important in my case) rural retreat a few minutes drive from Palmerston. Easy to find and check in, lovely cottage with high ceilings, all necessary amenities and a comfy bed. Breakfast was an unexpected pleasure and the quality of fruit fantastic. My pup loved roaming around the premises and I enjoyed relaxing near a plunge pool after a long day. The hosts are fantastically accommodating and pleasant: thanks John and Jennifer! will definitely be back. Will bring a guitar next time for a rehearsal as the acoustics in the room is amazing :-)

So happy to have found this lovely spot with our puppy to relax away from work for a couple of days. The place was so clean, quiet, relaxing...everything was great, especially the outdoors with the hammock!! We didn't get the chance to try the pool, so sad!! Time went too fast... Ravi and his wife were so helpful and they had a lovely family. The house was immaculate and spacious and all the facilities that we used were very clean and serviceable. Great air conditioning and fan, comfy bed, lots of storage space. The cinematic experience when watching TV was fabulous. All in all a great place to stay.
